Details:
For beginners and intermediates, this course will improve your ceramics knowledge and skills, preparing you to work independently. You will explore: hand building, centring clay, throwing vessels (bowls, cylinders, jars and vases), trimming, sgraffito, paper resist and glaze application. You will also have a wide selection of earthenware glazes to choose from at no extra cost!

Instructions:
To enjoy our sessions without worry, please wear something which you don't mind getting messy. Clay can be washed out of your clothes, and aprons will be provided, but for your own peace of mind, we recommend you think about appropriate clothing - and avoid having long fingernails as this can restrict throwing on the potter's wheel. We also ask that you bring a notebook along - so you can keep on top of techniques and stay on track with progress.

Missed sessions:

We can offer you one make-up session on the 5th week (Glaze session) anything else will be at our discretion and subject to availability.
